SNU (President Se-Jung Oh) selected three faculty members including Professor Seong Cheol Kim (ECE) with notable achievements in the field of industry-academy cooperation as the recipients of the 1st ‘SNU Industry-Academy Cooperation Award’.
SNU established the ‘SNU Industry-Academy Cooperation Award’ in 2020 to encourage faculty members to cooperate with the industry by awarding faculty members who contributed to the advances of local industries or enforced the technological strength of the industry by transferring technology created within the university to the industrial sector.
The winners of the 1st ‘SNU Industry-Academy Cooperation Award’ are Professor Seong Cheol Kim (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering) in the industry-academy joint R&D division, Professor Junho Chung (Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, College of Medicine) in the transfer and commercialization of technology division, and Professor Ki Won Lee (Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences) in the local industrial development division.
The award ceremony, held at the SNU Center for Teaching and Learning, was broadcasted in real time on the SNU official YouTuble channel.
