As computer system architects, the researchers in HPCS lab design,
model, prototype, and evaluate next-generation computer systems. For
the purpose, researchers in our lab are trained for all core
architecture/system areas including computer architecture, system
modeling and simulation, VLSI design and prototyping, system software
and user applications. With the background, we build various
next-generations computer systems for next-generation applications
(e.g., fast and scalable CPU and servers, electrical brain simulation
systems, deep learning accelerators, extreme low-power
supercomputers).
